Gratify

The verb gratify is to please, satisfy, reward or fulfil someone’s wishes.

Synonyms are gladden, delight, enchant, or thrill.

The word origins from Middle French gratifier, Latin gratificari meaning “to do favor to, oblige, gratify” and gratus “pleasing”.

It gives me true happiness when I am able to gratify someone.

I did nothing but to gratify her wants, yet she still left me for someone else.
