Elated

The adjective elated is the state of being extremely happy and excited because of something.

I am very much elated this week and I don’t know why, i’m just too happy.

Sometimes I’m afraid a consequence is about to come after being elated. It feels like I’m not even allowed to be happy anymore.

The child became elated when I gave him ice cream.
